The Jolene star admits she's more than aware of new reports questioning her friendship with longtime pal Judy Ogle but she tells U.S. news show Nightline she's not a lesbian.

Parton states, "Judy and I have been best friends since we were, like, in the third and fourth grade ... We still just have a great friendship and relationship and I love her as much as I love anybody in the whole world, but we're not romantically involved." Anna Nicole's daughter [PHOTOS/VIDEO], Dannielynn Birkhead is ready for her closeup. Guess has just released photos of their new children's clothing model, none other than Anna Nicole Smith’s adorable 6-year-old daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead.

Dannielynn, 6, the daughter of the late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith is following in the footsteps of his mother, and has made her debut as a model for an advertising campaign by Guess Kids.

The creative director of Guess, Paul Marciano said in a statement that Dannielynn Birkhead was the "natural spirit" of his mother in the photo shoot.

Fox News ends interview [PHOTO/VIDEO], A Fox News Channel interview ended abruptly Monday after an author accused the network of hyping the killing of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, and “operating as a wing of the Republican Party.”

Fox News ended  the interview after author Thomas Ricks slammed the network and claimed that the Fox News network had lost its journalistic integrity by "operating as a wing of the Republican Party."
Thomas E. Ricks, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and blogger for Foreign Policy appeared on Fox News Monday morning to discuss the Obama administration's response to the September 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. When Ricks accused the network of "operating as a wing of the Republican Party" and "hyping" the attack, the anchor abruptly cut the interview short. Dog bites trumpeter [PHOTO/VIDEO], A vicious dog bites Dirty Dozen Brass Band trumpeter, Efrem Towns, in an Atlanta hotel, Inquisitr reports Nov. 25.

The vicious dog bite took place on November 18 and according to The Times-Picayune it forced trumpeter Efrem Towns to miss shows in Colorado and New Orleans.

Towns was outside baritone sax player Roger Lewis’ Atlanta motel room after a gig, he said, in the early hours of Sunday, November 18, when he was blindsided by a large Rottweiler.

“He came over to my room to collect some money,” Lewis said, “and he was whistling while he knocked on my door. The room next door was open, and the dog just came out and grabbed him in his private area, and started chewing away on him.” Go here for more including photo and video of Efrem Towns.

Miley gets pig for birthday [VIDEO], Miley Cyrus gets a pig for her birthday, and PETA gets some donations to help their work with animals.

Cyrus turned 20 on Friday, and PETA went whole hog to mark the occasion.
The group sponsored a rescued pig named Nora in honor of the former Hannah Montana star, an outspoken animal rights advocate who recently mentioned that she would love to adopt a pig.

Cyrus has tweeted her support of animal rights in the past, including passing along a message from PETA asking people to boycott Wal-Mart for its treatment of pigs.

The retailer has been accused of keeping pigs in confined spaces so tight that the animals can’t lie down. Go here for more including video.

Rover’s Big Discovery [PHOTO/VIDEO], NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity has apparently made a discovery “for the history books,” but we are apparently going to have to wait a few weeks to find out what the new Red Planet find may be, media reports suggest.

We do know that the discovery was made by SAM, the Sample Analysis at Mars suite of three instruments.

"Think of it like a Swiss Army knife," SAM co-investigator Laurie Leshin told The L.A. Times. "It's a beautifully integrated set of tools that can do many jobs ... and of course it's right there in Curiosity's pocket." Go here to read more and to see the video.

Helicopter found 8 years later [PHOTOS], Police in New Zealand, with the help of a local pilot, uncovered the wreck of a helicopter in rugged terrain, after having declared it missing for 8 years.

The chopper had been carrying 28-year-old British tourist Hannah Timings and was manned by 27-year-old resident pilot Campbell Montgomerie. Both the pilot and the passenger have been missing since 2004, when the Hughes 500 dissapeared.

The two bodies found on board are believed to be those of Montgomerie and Timings, however DNA testing will be performed to shed light on whether or not they belong to the missing traveler and pilot. Go here for more including photos.

Man shot in N.M. gun store [VIDEO], Man Shot In N.M. Gun Store, An employee at a New Mexico gun shop who was unloading a handgun accidentally shot and wounded a man in the back, authorities said Wednesday.

That's right, the customer at the gun shop in the town of 10,000 was shot right in the store, by an attendant.
Police reports chronicled the Tuesday, November 20 incident an accident, as the employee was unloading a .45-caliber handgun when he shot a customer in the back at Copper Country ATV in Silver City.

A 65-year-old man, whose identity has not been released by officials as of yet, was browsing through the merchandise when he was wounded. Go here for more including video link.

Anchors resign on air [VIDEO], Two news anchors have resigned on air on Maine TV, shocking viewers and the network they were working for.

Tony Consiglio and Cindy Michaels announced their resignations at the end of Tuesday’s 6 p.m. newscast, citing a longstanding battle with management at WVII and sister station WFVX.

Both Consiglio, 28, and Michaels, 46, said frustration over the way they were allowed or told to do their jobs — something that has been steadily mounting for the last four years — became too much for them. Go here for more and to see the video resignations.

We all dream of finding large sums of cash, but for Cheryl Gavazzi, that dream quickly turned her into a nervous wreck. She found a bag with over $11,000 in cash inside.
To be exact: $11,340.

Cheryl Gavazzi from Beverly did something many people might find difficult and resisted the temptation of keeping her find herself, instead doing the morally right thing and handed it in to authorities to help reunite the large sum of money with its owner.

Gavazzi was shopping at Marshalls in Swampscott recently when she saw a Vera Bradley bag hanging from the rack. She assumed the bag was for sale and had been placed on the wrong rack. Go here to read more and see the photo.

TheDirty.com claims Lukyanova, the Ukrainian Internet sensation known commonly as the "human Barbie," uses PhotoShop to make her appear more like the doll she aims to be.

Lukyanova, 21, claims she is the "most famous woman on the Russian language internet" and has photos of herself that appear to be photoshopped - either that, or she has deformed herself in a quest to look surreal. Go here for more including photos and videos.

Lance Gilman is a thriving businessman with dozens of employees. That those workers include a good many prostitutes didn't faze the people of a rural Nevada county who recently elected him.

On Nov. 19, it was reported in the news that Pennsylvania native Nicole Delien actually has "Sleeping Beauty Disorder." No, we are not kidding -- such a thing does exist. In medical terminology, it is known as Kleine-Levin Syndrome and is described below.

Woman arrested for facebook like [PHOTO], Two women were arrested over a Facebook post. One was arrested for writing the original post, while her friend was placed under arrest for a Facebook like.

The arrests happened in Mumbai, India, formerly known as Bombay. A 21-year-old college student named Shaheen Dhada posted a controversial status update on the social media site, and her friend Renu Srinivasan clicked the "like" button.

It sounds innocent enough; it's something that happens countless times per day. However, while most people click "like" on Facebook and promptly forget about it, these two young women were arrested on charges that could carry a three-year sentence. A Hostess Brands Inc. union says it hopes a buyer can save parts of the company, as the Twinkies baker was to ask a U.S. judge for permission to liquidate.

Frank Hurt, president of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers' International Union, told The Wall Street Journal he thought there was "more than a good chance" a buyer would buy the profitable parts of the Irving, Texas, company and give his union's members their jobs back. Toddler is found in cage [VIDEO], A Tulsa man was arrested after police found his 18-month-old daughter locked in a metal dog cage, his naked 4-year old daughter outside on a cold afternoon and him asleep in a drug or alcohol "induced stupor," police said Monday.

Tulsa police were called to the home of William Todd Lewallen, 47, Sunday evening after a neighbor called to report a naked 4-year-old boy from next door was outside screaming, KRMG-FM, Tulsa, reported. Temperatures were in the 40s.

"We heard it when it first started, he started screaming and crying 'Daddy, I'm cold and scared; I'm cold, I'm scared daddy,'" Tulsa's KOTV quoted neighbor Bodan Jacobs as saying. Go here to read more and see the video.

Marijuana Tourism [VIDEO] got two thumbs up in the elections earlier this month as the states of Washington and Colorado made selling, buying and using cannabis legal.

The measure doesn't just set up an epic state-federal showdown on drug law for residents, it also open the door for marijuana tourism.

While Washington State residents will be able to possess small quantities of marijuana next month, it is unclear if they will be able to buy it.

Navy SEALS [VIDEO] game admonishment, Seven members of the secretive Navy SEAL Team 6, including one involved in the mission to get Osama bin Laden, have been punished for disclosing classified information, senior Navy officials said.

It was unclear what secrets were revealed when they were serving as consultants, but officials said they used classified material given to them by the Navy, CBS News reported Thursday.

Was the TV anchor drunk or just exhausted?

Sawyer sure had good reason to be exhausted. Sawyer, who covered Hurricane Sandy in depth right before election night, may have taken too much onto herself, and it showed in a big way on air last night.

Adopted son is starved [VIDEO]. Child abuse allegations about an adopted son starved and allegedly abused rocked the town of North Mankato, Minn. this week.

According to criminal charges, the boy was so malnourished his bones protruded and he weighed as much as a child half his age.

Mona Hauer and Russell Hauer of North Mankato  have each been charged with six felonies, including neglect and malicious punishment of a child.

$23 million lottery winner forgot [PHOTO/VIDEO], PALMDALE, Calif. (tPC) - A California woman who didn't know she had a jackpot-winning $23 million lottery ticket in her car has come forward to claim her fortune.

The San Bernardino County Sun reports the Palmdale woman’s daughter recognized her from a newspaper photo of the supposed winner, captured on the liquor store’s surveillance camera.

"She just never checked the ticket," lottery spokesman Alex Traverso told the newspaper. "Her daughter took a picture of her photo in the newspaper and sent it to her mother, she went to her car and found the ticket."

The woman bought the ticket in May, and with 180 days to claim the prize, she only had until Nov. 26 to cash in.  Go here to read more and see the photo.

"As you all well know, Saeed is believed to be behind organising the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack in which 166 people were killed, including six Americans. John Rose, 60, a Republican candidate for the House of Delegates, was the fifth person killed in West Virginia when Sandy dumped up to 3 feet of snow on the Mountain State.

Radio Host [VIDEO] Attacked, A 70-year-old radio journalist was in stable condition Tuesday after masked men barged into his studio and set fire to it while he was on the air.

Authorities said three men were arrested in Monday’s attack on Fernando Vidal but were refusing to talk.

The disgraced American cyclist has been chosen as the latest celebrity to be burnt in effigy during an English town's nationally famous Bonfire Night celebrations.
